Right well I know I am rather late at writing this. Big Brother has returned to the small screen. The first point I want to raise on this is how the hell did this crap make it back onto the TV? Channel 5 seriously need to speak to themselves. The snow flake channel has bought the rights to one of the most annoying shows on TV (behind X factor and Pop Idol etc…). Really how can anyone pretend to enjoy watching a bunch of people live their lives inside one house when most people can’t even live their own lives properly these days. If I wanted to do that I could easily slip into the city centre sit around on a bench like a hobo and watch the same for free. Ah but they are not in a house I hear you shout to me. Fine then I’ll just go to my neighbours and look in through the window which is essentially what the people who watch it are doing and find this a form of entertainment. What happened to the days of decent TV you know the likes of Monty Python, Fawlty Towers and Only Fools and Horses? I think it’s well and truly dead at the moment when the brainless nation want to what the like of Big Brother and X factor.
With that in mind I have been thinking on what sort of appeal does Big Brother really get and you know I’m coming up with Zip. The only thing I could come up with in a vague sense was because the first “series” on Channel 5 is a celebrity version that a lot of people just watch it to dream about living the celebrity lifestyle. The same people who watch big brother are surely the same people who watch and think Jeremy Kyle is great. Anyway I could go on more about how you have to be an idiot or someone with a low IQ (That’s practically the same thing to those who watch big brother) to watch it and actually enjoy it, but I’m not going to. What big celebrities do we have in this series then “Amy Childs”, Oh dear oh dear. Amy Childs the star of the only way is Essex and master of the English language. She was once heard to quote “The person that’s obviously done the dictionary. Who is it?” This model and beauty therapist really hit to fame for all the wrong reasons and my prediction for her really is to become the next Jade Goodie. If you don’t know what I mean then it’s the dumb one who gets fame for being stupid and having no talent and milks all the fame she can. She really has no talent or grasp of the English language and this is just disturbing but then that’s what you need for big brother to be a hit right. When Amy Winehouse died a few months back I secretly wished that it would of been Jedward who would follow. However rethinking about the situation all the media attention Amy Winehouse got I started to think could I handle that amount of Jedward on TV and thought to myself “NO” so put that idea out of my mind. Jedward found fame again just like Amy Child’s for having no talent on X factor. Seeing them on big brother has confirmed that they should follow Amy to the white line in the sky at least that way the large amount of pain of seeing the aftermath of their deaths on TV would fade and they would be no more. Instead here they are trying to keep a grasp on what little fame they have left.
I really can’t go on anymore with this as it’s is to depressing to even write about knowing that the likes of Kerry Katona (the atomic kitten turned alley cat_, Lucien Laviousc*nt a so called model, actor and soap star (acting and soap star in the same sentence is impossible so why add that to his CV), Bobby Sabel (model for the top brands such as house of fraiser and soon to be primark) and add to that a few other b list celebs such as Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff and some guy from Gypsy Wedding or something and you have a house full of top dawg celebrities and big hitters.
Suppose the only plus side of the whole big brother is that Tara Reid is worth some attention at least but when you have the internet for pictures/video clips of her would the illusion of her great smile and figure be shattered by Big brother.
